The 78K is the heavier of the two XINGYI single disc polishing machines we supply: a 17 inch disc turned at 175 rpm by a 3 HP motor, in a 78 kg machine. The extra weight bears down on the disc, which keeps pads pressed to the floor and gives the operator a machine that holds its line on long passes.
It still runs on 220 V / 50 Hz with a 12 m cable, so it goes where three-phase grinders cannot: occupied apartments, hotel lobbies, hospital corridors and the upper floors of finished buildings. Topall Impex is the exclusive India partner for XINGYI.
It is bought by stone polishing contractors, facility service companies running large sites, and flooring crews who want a single disc machine that will take a full shift of pad work day after day.
Same disc, same speed, same supply and cable length. The 78K adds 1 HP and 23 kg, in a body 80 mm shorter at 1040×630×1200 mm against 1120×630×1200 mm. Buy the 78K if the machine will run daily on stone and concrete, or with aggressive diamond pads. Buy the 175B if it moves between many small jobs and is often lifted by one person.
On a single disc machine, cutting pressure comes almost entirely from the machine's own weight. More weight means a diamond pad bites instead of skimming; more horsepower means the motor holds 175 rpm under that load rather than slowing when the pad grabs. That combination is why the 78K suits marble honing and concrete pad polishing better than a lighter machine.
On polished concrete work the 78K is often the machine that finishes rooms and edges after a GT or GX grinder has done the flattening, and the machine the building owner keeps for upkeep once the floor is handed over.
