The CQF20 concrete cutter is supplied to Chennai contractors cutting contraction joints in floor slabs, footpaths and thin overlays across Tamil Nadu. It takes 14 in to 20 in diamond blades, cuts to 140 mm and comes engine or motor driven at 5 to 13 hp, so it suits both the open sites and the basements that Chennai work throws up. At 95 kg it is the easiest CQF model to get onto a slab.
If your Chennai jobs include road crossings deeper than 140 mm, look at the CQF28 instead; it cuts to 220 mm.
Joints have to go in within hours of the pour, so a cutter that starts first time and tracks straight matters more than raw capacity.
