The HCR100 tamping rammer is supplied to Delhi contractors who reinstate trenches, backfill footings and compact clay where a plate compactor will not fit. Its 20 kN impact force arrives through a 315 × 280 mm shoe at 460 to 650 blows a minute, compacting to a 300 mm depth effect — the machine that goes into the trench on Delhi and Delhi utility work, not one that rides over it.
The 5 HP petrol engine means it works on a carriageway with no supply anywhere near, and at 90 kg one operator handles it on the ground.
If most of your Delhi work is indoors or on a site with power, the HCR100S carries the same 20 kN through a 3 kW electric motor at 70 kg and is the better buy.
