The FVR 850 sits between our compact and heavy vibrating rollers, and it is the model most contractors settle on when the work is steady road and site compaction rather than either extreme. It carries the same 30 KN centrifugal force as the FVR 600 but spreads it across a wider 580x700 mm drum, so each pass covers more ground and fewer passes are needed to reach the required density.
A 0-5 km/hr working speed and 750 kg operating weight make it noticeably quicker over long stretches of road, while the hydraulic drive and electric start keep it easy for a single operator to run. The 35 litre water tank feeds the drum for asphalt work, and the Electrum vibrating clutch gives smoother engagement under load.

The FVR 850 is the middle machine and, for most contractors, the sensible one. It carries the same 30 KN centrifugal force as the FVR 600 but spreads it across a 580 x 700 mm drum, so you cover a yard or an approach road noticeably faster for the same compactive effort.
At 750 kg it still loads onto a small tipper. The FVR 1200 compacts thicker lifts because it carries 50 KN, but at 1200 kg it needs proper transport and proper access — worth it on highway base course, unnecessary on internal roads.
Working speed runs to 5 km/h, and the electrum vibrating clutch engages more smoothly under load than a mechanical clutch, which shows on asphalt where an abrupt start marks the surface. The 35 litre water tank covers a full shift of asphalt work.
Delivery, commissioning and operator handover, with spares held in Delhi. Hydraulic hoses, vibration bearings and drum scrapers are the parts that actually wear, and all three are stock items.
