The GW42J is an imported electric bar bending machine rated for TMT bar up to 32 mm. It runs a 3 kW, 1440 rpm motor on a 415 V three-phase supply, turns a 370 mm working disc on a 12 mm working plate, and at 320 kg on an 880 × 800 × 850 mm footprint it sits in the size class most building contractors keep in the bar yard for column, beam and footing bars.
It is bought by contractors who bend 12 to 25 mm bar all day and want 32 mm covered without stepping up to a heavier machine. The routine is simple: set the stop for the angle, lay the bar against the pins, start the turntable and the same bend repeats for the whole bundle.

The two imported benders differ on capacity, motor and disc. The GW42J bends 32 mm TMT bar (40 mm round bar) on 3 kW with a 370 mm disc at 320 kg; the GW52J bends 40 mm TMT (50 mm round) on 4 kW with a 400 mm disc at 400 kg. If your schedules stop at 32 mm — and on residential and commercial building work they nearly always do — the GW42J is the correct buy. The larger machine earns its extra 80 kg only where 36 and 40 mm bars appear regularly, which means bridge piers, heavy foundations and industrial rafts.
The Indian-made TBM-42 bends the same 32 mm on a 5 HP Indian motor and planetary gearbox at lower cost; the GW42J is for buyers who want the imported build.
The 3 kW motor needs a 415 V three-phase connection. On a site running on single phase or a small generator that is the first thing to check, because a bender that trips under load on 32 mm bar gets pushed to bend in two passes and the angle wanders.
At 320 kg the GW42J moves in one lift with a site crane or forklift. Fix its position in the bar yard once, with bar racks on the feed side and a clear swing radius for the longest bar you bend.
Delivery to site, commissioning and operator handover on angle stops and pin changes. Bending pins, turntable rollers and contactors are wear items and are held in Delhi rather than ordered against a container.
