Compaction decides whether a road, yard or embankment holds up under load or fails in the first monsoon. Topall Impex supplies hydraulic drive vibratory rollers from 30 KN to 50 KN centrifugal force, covering everything from kerbside and trench work to highway base and runway compaction.
We were the highest seller of mini road rollers among importers in India, and we hold spares in Delhi so a breakdown does not stall your site.
Choosing between the FVR 600, FVR 850 and FVR 1200
- FVR 600 — 30 KN, 550 kg, 430 x 600 mm drum, 0 to 4 km/h. The one that fits through a gate and works a trench line or a footpath without fighting you.
- FVR 850 — 30 KN, 750 kg, 580 x 700 mm drum, 0 to 5 km/h. Same force over a wider drum, so you cover ground faster on yards and approach roads.
- FVR 1200 — 50 KN, 1200 kg, 540 x 800 mm drum, 0 to 8 km/h, 60 litre water tank. This is the base course and highway machine.
All three are electric start with hydraulic drive, vibrate at 70 Hz and climb a 30 per cent grade. Pick on centrifugal force and drum width, then check the machine actually fits the narrowest access on your site.
What a road roller costs in India
Walk behind and mini rollers in this class run from about Rs 1,75,000 for the FVR 600 to about Rs 4,84,000 for the FVR 1200. Three things drive the price: centrifugal force, operating weight and whether the drive is hydraulic or mechanical.
Hydraulic drive costs more and is worth it. It gives you smooth reversing under load, which is exactly what you need when compacting against a kerb or reversing off a fresh mat.
Soil, base course or asphalt
For soil and granular base, weight and centrifugal force do the work. For asphalt the water tank matters as much as the tonnage — a dry drum picks up bitumen and tears the surface you just laid. The 35 and 60 litre tanks on these machines are sized for a full shift rather than a top-up every hour.
If you are compacting a trench backfill rather than an open area, a roller is the wrong tool and a plate compactor is the right one. We will tell you that before you buy, not after.
Service and spares held in Delhi
Rollers earn their money on a schedule. Ours are supported from our Delhi warehouse with spares in stock and technicians who work on these machines every week, so a hydraulic hose or a vibration bearing does not become a fortnight of waiting.
