The GX688-4A is the self-propelled machine in the XINGYI concrete grinding range. A 15 kW / 20 Hp motor turns the heads at 350 to 1500 rpm across a 650 mm working width, and the machine drives itself forward, so the operator guides it rather than pushing 410 kg across a floor for a full shift.
It is built for contractors whose floors are measured in thousands of square metres: warehouses, factory halls, basements and podium decks being prepared for coating or polished in place. The inverter is matched to the motor at 15 kW / 20 Hp, and the machine runs on a 380 V three-phase supply.
For all that power the frame is compact at 124 × 74 × 132 cm, a smaller footprint than the walk-behind GX65, which helps when the route to the floor runs through doorways and goods lifts. Topall Impex is the exclusive India partner for XINGYI.
The GX65 is the walk-behind option at 9.5 kW, 638 mm and 305 kg, and its speed reaches 1680 rpm. It is the better buy for showroom, residential and smaller commercial floors. The GX688-4A earns its place when area is the constraint: self-propulsion and an extra 5.5 kW keep coarse metal pads cutting at a steady pace all day, and the operator is not worn out by midday.
Both run a 15 kW / 20 Hp motor and both are self-propelled. The 800LE widens the cut to 800 mm, reaches 1950 rpm, weighs 556 kg and is printed for 220 V as well as 380 V. It covers more floor per pass but is a bigger machine to transport and to lift onto an upper level. If the work is mostly ground-floor industrial slabs, look at the 800LE; if it moves between sites and floors, the GX688-4A is easier to live with.
On a grinder, pace is quality. A machine pushed by hand speeds up and slows down with the operator, and the floor records it as an uneven scratch pattern that the next grit then has to remove. Powered drive keeps travel even, so each pass cuts the same and the grit sequence stays short.
