The GX8-25 is the wide-range rebar straightening machine in our line, taking 8 to 25 mm bar from coil and delivering it straight at 28 metres a minute. A 15 kW motor drives it through a 400 reducer, it weighs 900 kg and packs at 1410 × 1020 × 1280 mm. Where the GX6-14 stops at 12 mm, the GX8-25 carries on through 16, 20 and 25 mm — the beam and column sizes — so a yard that buys its heavier steel in coil can straighten all of it on one machine.
It is bought by large bar yards and precast plants whose steel supply comes in coil across the range, and by contractors on projects big enough that the wastage saved on 16 and 20 mm bar justifies a heavier straightener. A straight-bar offcut on 20 mm weighs a lot more than one on 8 mm, and the GX8-25 removes it.

The GX8-25 covers 8 to 25 mm at 28 m/min on 15 kW at 900 kg; the GX6-14 covers 6 to 12 mm at 30 m/min on 5.5 kW plus 2.2 kW at 600 kg. From the GX8-25's side, buy it if any bar above 12 mm arrives in coil or if you want one machine for the whole yard. If your coil purchases stop at 12 mm — which is the common case — the GX6-14 does the same work on half the power, costs less and also takes 6 mm, which this machine does not.
Pair it with a GT4-14 decoiling machine on the smaller sizes; heavier coils need a decoiler rated for them, which we will specify with the machine.
The roller set has to handle a wide spread of diameters, so setting matters more than on the small machine. Set the rollers for each size, run a test length and check it on the ground before committing a coil. At 25 mm the bar is stiff and the 15 kW motor works hard; at 8 mm it runs lightly, but a setting left over from 20 mm will not straighten it.
The 15 kW motor needs a three-phase supply sized for it — nearly double the GX6-14's draw. Give the 900 kg machine a level base, a decoiler on the infeed and a run-out table on the outfeed as long as your longest cut length.
