The CDRG45 is a rebar threading machine that cuts a parallel thread on the end of 16 to 40 mm bar so that two bars can be joined with a mechanical coupler instead of a lap. A 5.5 kW motor turns the main shaft at 62 r/min, thread length runs up to 80 mm, and the machine threads at 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 pitch to match the coupler specified on the drawing. It weighs 330 kg and measures 1100 × 480 × 1040 mm.
It is bought by contractors on tall buildings, bridges and large-diameter column work where the consultant has specified couplers — increasingly the case above 25 mm — and by bar yards that supply those contracts. A lapped joint uses extra bar at every column on every floor and crowds the joint; a threaded coupler uses none of it.

The CDRG45 is the only threading machine in our range, so the comparison is with what it works alongside. It sits after the cutter: bar is cut to length on a GQ40H, GQ50 or TCM-42, the ends are dressed, and the CDRG45 threads them. Its 40 mm range matches the GW52J bender, so a yard bending 40 mm bar has threading covered to the same size.
Coupler systems specify a pitch and a thread length, and the machine is set to 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 pitch with threading length up to 80 mm to suit. The working method is limit switch or sensor, so the thread stops at the set length on every bar rather than at the operator's judgement. Threading 40 mm bar is what the 5.5 kW motor is for; on 16 mm the same machine runs lightly loaded. The bar end should be square from the cutter before it goes in — a ragged end from an abrasive wheel gives a short first thread.
The 5.5 kW motor runs on a three-phase supply and wants a steady connection under cutting load. Set the 330 kg machine on a level base with bar supports on the infeed side long enough for the bars you thread.
Delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training on pitch setting and tooling changes. Training matters here: a badly threaded bar fails a pull test. Threading tooling is held in Delhi.
