The CVS-25 is a screed vibrator: a 2 m or 3 m screed blade in magnesium or alloy, vibrated through a flexible shaft by a Honda GX35 petrol engine or an imported motor, and drawn across the pour on a single handle. When the operator strikes the concrete off to level, the vibrating blade compacts it at the same time. The result is a slab that is level and dense in one pass, without the air pockets and honeycombing that a hand-pulled screed leaves in a stiff or thick mix.

The Honda version needs no site supply at all.

Topall Impex supplies the CVS-25 from Delhi, with the Honda engine serviceable anywhere in India and wear parts in stock, and supports it from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai.

CVS-25 or a hand screed

A plain hand screed levels; it does not compact. On a 100 mm residential slab with workable concrete that is fine. On a 150 mm or thicker slab, a stiff mix, fibre-dosed concrete or a road section, the hand screed leaves voids beneath the surface that a needle vibrator poked in afterwards only partly closes. The CVS-25 compacts as it levels. If your slabs are thin and your concrete is wet, the hand tools are enough.

CVS-25 or the FVP219 roller screed paver

The CVS-25 blade is 2 m or 3 m long and one operator pulls it, so its natural work is bays of that width. The FVP219 roller screed paver made in India by Topall Impex spans 3, 5 or 7 m with 3 to 7 needle vibrators and paves up to 300 mm thick. When the work is continuous road or pavement and the mixers arrive faster than a gang can screed, that is the machine; for bays, ramps and awkward pours, the CVS-25 is the flexible tool.

Blade length and drive

Take the 2 m blade for narrow bays, paths and ramps, and the 3 m blade for wider bays where fewer passes matter. The Honda GX35 drive works anywhere; ask about the imported-motor option when you quote. Rinse the blade and keep set paste off the flexible shaft after every pour, and give the GX35 clean fuel, a clean air filter and oil changes on schedule.
