The RM80 is the 80 kg petrol tamping rammer in the range Topall Impex supplies, sitting between the 90 kg HCR100 and the 70 kg electric HCR100S. It carries the same 5 HP engine as the HCR100, strikes at the same 20 kN through the same 315 × 280 mm shoe, jumps 460 to 650 times a minute with a 40 to 65 mm stroke, and is rated to the same 300 mm depth effect. What you are buying with the RM80 is ten kilograms less to control all shift and to lift in and out of trenches, with no loss of compaction.

Supplied from Delhi with spares in stock and commissioning at your site.

RM80 or HCR100

Seen from the RM80, the HCR100 is the same engine, the same shoe and the same 20 kN carrying an extra 10 kg. That weight is not wasted — a heavier rammer sits more steadily on rough backfill and needs less holding — so the HCR100 is the pick for stony trench bottoms and for operators who prefer the machine to do the steadying. The RM80 is the pick for long shifts, for lifting into deep trenches, and for gangs adding a second unit that a smaller operator will run. If the work is indoors, neither: the 3 kW HCR100S at 70 kg is the one with no exhaust.

Stroke, blow rate and layer depth

The rammer lifts 80 kg through 40 to 65 mm and drops it up to 650 times a minute. A higher blow rate covers a trench faster; what actually decides compaction is keeping each backfill layer inside the 300 mm depth effect. Keep layers shallow, ram each one fully and the trench takes traffic. Fill deep and ram the top and it settles. That rule holds for every rammer in the range, the RM80 included.

Handling an 80 kg machine

A rammer at this weight is a one-person machine on the ground but a two-person or sling lift into a deep trench. Plan the lift as part of the job. The bellows and the 30 mm shoe plate are the parts that take the abuse of being dragged over a trench edge, and both are stock items in Delhi.

What is included

Delivery, commissioning at your site and operator training. Shoe, bellows and shock mounts held in stock in Delhi, so a worn part is days away rather than weeks.

What Contractors Say About Topall Impex

M
Manoj Verma Flooring Contractor, Delhi NCR

Topall ke machines ka biggest benefit mujhe project productivity mein dikha. Site requirement ke according machine select karne mein team ne support kiya aur installation ke baad operators ko proper briefing mili.

Rajesh Jain Civil Contractor, Gurgaon

Construction machinery mein purchase ke saath after-sales bhi equally important hota hai. Topall ke case mein commissioning aur operator training properly mili. Spare availability ke baare mein bhi team clear thi, isliye overall experience positive raha.

S
Sanjay Sharma Infrastructure Contractor, Noida

Humne Topall se different categories ki machines dekhi aur requirement ke according model select kiya. Sales team ne sirf expensive model push nahi kiya, site requirement samajhkar option suggest kiya. Ye approach achhi lagi.
