Beyond bending and cutting, a bar yard that supplies a large project needs a handful of specialist machines: a threading machine for coupler joints, a straightening machine to turn coil into straight bar, a decoiler to feed automatic lines, and an iron worker for plate, angle and flat steelwork. Topall Impex supplies all four classes from Delhi.
The range
- CDRG45 rebar threading machine — 16–40 mm bar, thread length up to 80 mm, 5.5 kW, pitch 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5, 330 kg. For coupler joints in columns and piers.
- GX6-14 rebar straightening machine — 6–12 mm coil to straight bar, 30 m/min, 5.5 kW + 2.2 kW, 600 kg.
- GX8-25 rebar straightening machine — 8–25 mm, 28 m/min, 15 kW, 900 kg, for the heavier coil sizes.
- GT4-12 decoiling machine — 6–10 mm rebar, 7.5 kW, 30–40 m/min feed to a stirrup or straightening line, 245 kg.
- GT4-14 decoiling machine — 4–12 mm rebar, 9 kW, 30–50 m/min, 500 kg.
- QA32-8, QA35-10, QA35-12 iron worker machines — iron worker / multi-cutters for punching, shearing and notching at 360, 500 and 600 kN, 2.2, 3 and 4 kW, 500–900 kg.
Which one
Buy by the process you are short of. If couplers are specified on the drawings, the CDRG45 is the machine. If you buy steel in coil to save on price and wastage, you need a straightener sized to the coil diameter — GX6-14 for slab and stirrup sizes, GX8-25 up to 25 mm — and a decoiler to feed it or an automatic stirrup bender. If your yard also fabricates steelwork, one QA-series iron worker replaces a punch press, a shear and a notcher.
What these machines cost
Price on request, usually quoted the same working day. Capacity drives cost in every class: 40 mm threading against smaller, 25 mm straightening against 12 mm, and 600 kN punching against 360 kN. Delivery, commissioning and operator training are included on every machine.
Threading or lapping
A lapped joint uses extra bar on every column at every floor; a threaded coupler uses none and clears congestion at the joint. On tall buildings the steel saved pays for the threading machine quickly, which is why consultants increasingly specify couplers above 25 mm.
Power
All machines here run on three-phase power. The iron workers are motor-and-flywheel machines on 2.2 to 4 kW motors rated 380 V, 50 Hz; the 15 kW GX8-25 straightener draws the most, so size the supply for the rated figure.

Rebar threading machine
A rebar threading machine, also called a rebar thread cutting machine or TMT bar threading machine, cuts threads on bar ends so they can be joined with couplers. The CDRG45 threads 16 to 40 mm bar up to 80 mm long, at a pitch of 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 mm, with a 5.5 kW motor and a weight of 330 kg.
Bar straightening machine
A bar straightening machine, also sold as a rebar straightening machine or steel bar straightening machine, turns coil into straight cut lengths. Choose by coil diameter: the GX6-14 for 6 to 12 mm, and the GX8-25 up to 25 mm. Yards buy steel in coil to save on price and wastage, so the machine earns its place when coil is a regular purchase.
How these machines fit in a bar yard
A complete yard usually starts with a bar cutting machine and a bar bending machine. A stirrup bending machine comes next, once the ring count justifies it. A decoiler feeds a straightening line or an automatic stirrup bender, and a threading machine comes in when couplers are on the drawings.
