The GW20S is a compact electric stirrup bending machine that runs on a 220 V single-phase supply. It bends 4 to 16 mm bar to 90° and 135° — the two angles every stirrup, ring and tie needs — at a working speed of 25 to 30 r/min with automatic angle feed, from a 2.2 kW motor, and it weighs 90 kg on an 800 × 550 × 850 mm footprint.
It is the machine for the small contractor who has no three-phase connection and still wants to stop bending rings by hand. Plug it into the same supply as the site office, set the stops for the stirrup size, and one operator turns out identical rings all day with the 135° hook that a hand bender always struggles to close properly.

The two machines are the same bender with different supplies. The GW20S runs on 220 V single phase at 90 kg; the GW20 runs on 415 V three-phase at 95 kg. Capacity, angles, speed and motor are identical. From the GW20S's point of view the decision is made by the site: if there is no three-phase supply, or the machine will move between small sites and rented yards, this is the one. If a three-phase supply is already there for a bar bender and cutter, the GW20 sits on it more comfortably.
Neither is an automatic machine. When volume passes a few hundred stirrups a day, the CNC GTD4-10S and GTD5-12D in the same category take bar straight off the coil and produce 2,000 to 2,400 pieces an hour without an operator touching it.
The 2.2 kW motor is sized for the whole 4 to 16 mm range on 220 V, which covers slab distribution bars, beam stirrups and column ties on any building. Bend the larger sizes in one continuous movement to the stop; a domestic supply with a long extension lead can drop voltage under load, so keep the lead short and heavy.
At 90 kg two people lift the GW20S into a pickup. It is the only bender in our range that moves that easily, which is why it is bought by contractors running several small sites at once.
