The GX6-14 is a rebar straightening machine for 6 to 12 mm bar. It takes steel from the coil, pulls it through straightening rollers and delivers straight bar at 30 metres a minute, ready to cut to length. Two motors — 5.5 kW and 2.2 kW — power it through a 350 reducer, and the machine weighs 600 kg with a packing size of 740 × 1070 × 1250 mm.
Contractors buy it because coil is cheaper than straight bar and wastes less: every length is cut to the exact size the schedule asks for, with no offcuts from 12 m stock lengths. A yard buying 8 and 10 mm in coil and straightening it on site takes that saving on every tonne, and 6 to 12 mm is the slab, distribution and stirrup steel that makes up the bulk of tonnage on a building.

The GX6-14 straightens 6 to 12 mm at 30 m/min on 5.5 kW plus 2.2 kW at 600 kg; the GX8-25 straightens 8 to 25 mm at 28 m/min on 15 kW at 900 kg. From the GX6-14's side the question is whether you buy anything above 12 mm in coil. Most yards do not — 16 mm and above usually comes as straight bar — so the smaller machine covers the coil sizes actually bought, costs less and draws about half the power. Move to the GX8-25 only if your supplier delivers 16 to 25 mm in coil or you want one machine for everything.
Feed the GX6-14 from a GT4-12 or GT4-14 decoiling machine so the coil pays out under control rather than springing across the yard.
At 30 metres a minute the machine straightens a tonne of 8 mm bar in well under an hour. Throughput is then set by how fast the cut lengths are cleared, so give it a run-out table on the outfeed side as long as the longest bar you cut. Adjust the rollers for each diameter; running 12 mm through a setting made for 8 mm leaves a bow.
The two motors total 7.7 kW on a three-phase supply. Straightening draws steadily rather than in peaks, so a modest site supply is enough.
Delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training on roller setting for each bar size. Rollers are the wear item and are held in Delhi.
