The FVR 1200 is the heaviest roller in the FVR range and the one to specify when the compaction spec is demanding. It delivers 50 KN of centrifugal force, well above the 30 KN of the smaller models, and drives it through a 540x800 mm drum at a 0-8 km/hr working speed. On highway bases, runway aprons and large industrial yards that combination reaches the required density in fewer passes and covers ground fast.
At 1200 kg with an 11 HP engine, full hydraulic drive and a 60 litre water tank, it is built for continuous shift work rather than short jobs. The Electrum vibrating clutch handles repeated engagement under load, and 30% gradeability lets it work embankments and ramps without losing traction.

The FVR 1200 exists for work the smaller rollers cannot finish. At 50 KN centrifugal force and 1200 kg it compacts thicker lifts in fewer passes, which is what makes it the machine for highway base course, industrial yards and runway work rather than kerbs and trenches.
It also runs faster — 0 to 8 km/h against 4 and 5 km/h on the FVR 600 and 850 — so on open ground the productivity gap is wider than the price gap suggests. On confined work none of that helps, and the FVR 850 is the better buy.
The 60 litre water tank and 5 litre fuel tank are both sized for continuous work, which is the point of this machine. Check access before you order: at 2100 x 1000 x 1650 mm it will not go where the FVR 600 goes, and 30 per cent gradeability is a specification, not an invitation to work a slope in the wet.
