The GT4-14 decoiling machine goes to the yards in Ahmedabad running a GTD5-12D automatic stirrup bender or a straightening line on coil from 4 to 12 mm. It pays out at 30 to 50 metres a minute on a 9 kW motor, so the line keeps its rated output and the 12 mm capacity of the bender is actually used — which on the precast and high-rise work in Gujarat is the reason the bigger bender was bought.
Yards whose stirrups stay at 6 to 10 mm can take the GT4-12 instead and save the difference.
