The FVR 650D double drum vibrating roller is supplied to Chennai contractors who lay and patch asphalt on footpaths, driveways and municipal roads. Two 426 × 650 mm vibrating drums at 25 kN on a 530 kg hydraulic drive machine leave the mat flat in both directions, which is what surfacing work in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu is judged on.
