The FBC33 is a bump cutter, the long straight-edged blade that is dragged across a slab once the bleed water has gone to shave off the high spots and push the paste into the low ones. It is the tool that turns a slab that looks flat into one that measures flat. The blade is aluminium alloy, 3000 × 50 × 100 mm, worked by hand on three stainless steel handles of 1800 mm each, with the bracket included.
Flatness is decided here, not on the power trowel. A trowel follows the surface it is given; if the bull float left a hump at a screed rail or a hollow where the concrete was walked on, the trowel will burnish the hump and the hollow. The bump cutter is the one pass that removes them, and contractors working to a floor flatness figure run it in two directions before the first trowel pass.
Topall Impex stocks the FBC33 with handles and blades in Delhi and supports it from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai.
FBC33 or FCR33
On paper they are the same tool: the FCR33 check rod is also a 3000 × 50 × 100 mm aluminium alloy straightedge on three 1800 mm stainless steel handles, and the catalogue lists the FBC33 as a bump cutter and check rod in one. The difference is in the use. On a small pour one tool does both jobs. On a floor written to a flatness specification most gangs keep one of each, one reading the surface and one cutting, so the check, cut and check-again sequence never waits on a single tool.
Timing the pass
Go on too early and the blade drags water and fines across the surface, which is where a dusting floor begins. Go on too late and the edge skates over a stiffened surface and cuts nothing. The right moment is after the sheen of bleed water has gone and before the slab takes a thumb print without a mark.
Handling
Keep the blade almost flat and pull it at a slight angle to the direction of travel so the cut material moves sideways rather than piling in front of the edge. Two passes at right angles find the humps a single pass rides over. A 3 m blade bridges most local dips, and the three 1800 mm handles let one operator work a 6 m bay from either side.
What is included

What Contractors Say About Topall Impex
Construction machinery mein purchase ke saath after-sales bhi equally important hota hai. Topall ke case mein commissioning aur operator training properly mili. Spare availability ke baare mein bhi team clear thi, isliye overall experience positive raha.
Humne Topall se different categories ki machines dekhi aur requirement ke according model select kiya. Sales team ne sirf expensive model push nahi kiya, site requirement samajhkar option suggest kiya. Ye approach achhi lagi.
Topall ke saath mera experience sirf machine delivery tak nahi raha. Machine site par commission karna aur operator ko practically samjhana unka strong point laga. Equipment lene ke baad confidence raha ki issue aaye to support available hai.
