The FVR 850 is the mid-range vibrating roller we supply most often to contractors in Hyderabad, because it suits steady road and site work rather than either extreme. It carries the same 30 KN centrifugal force as the FVR 600 but spreads it across a wider 580 x 700 mm drum, so each pass covers more ground and fewer passes are needed.
A 0-5 km/hr working speed makes it noticeably quicker over the long stretches typical of Hyderabad road contracts, while 750 kg keeps it manageable to load and shift between sites across Telangana.
On yards, internal roads and approach stretches the FVR 850 finishes measurably sooner than the FVR 600 for the same compactive effort. On trench and kerb work it does not, and the smaller machine is the better buy.
The electrum vibrating clutch engages more gently under load than a mechanical clutch, which matters on asphalt where an abrupt start leaves a mark you then have to work out.
