The 580-2 is a XINGYI floor grinding machine with a 580 mm disc, a 7.5 kW / 10 Hp motor and a printed working speed of 1460 rpm. It weighs 175 kg, runs on 380 V three-phase and measures 830 × 640 × 1200 mm, small enough to go up in a goods lift and through an ordinary door.
It is a grinder for preparation work: taking laitance off a new slab, flattening joints and trowel marks, and stripping old paint or epoxy before a new coating goes down. Power is high for a machine of this size, and on coarse metal pads that shows up as material removed per hour.
Flooring contractors buy it as a second machine beside a larger grinder, for rooms, corridors and edges the big machine cannot reach, and epoxy applicators buy it as their main machine. Topall Impex is the exclusive India partner for XINGYI.
The two machines are close in size and share a 380 V supply. The 550-3V has a 550 mm disc, a 4 kW / 5.5 Hp motor and variable speed from 350 to 1260 rpm at 165 kg. The 580-2 has nearly twice the motor power and 30 mm more disc, and it is the one to choose when the job is removal. Where the job runs through fine diamond grits to a polish, the variable range of the 550-3V is the better fit.
A 7.5 kW motor on a 580 mm disc keeps coarse tooling cutting under load instead of bogging down when it meets a hard patch or an old coating. With speed printed at a single 1460 rpm there is nothing to set between jobs: the operator fits the pads and grinds. For preparation crews that simplicity means fewer mistakes on site.
If your floors regularly run past a few thousand square metres, the GX65 at 638 mm or the self-propelled GX688-4A covers ground faster. The 580-2 still earns its keep on those jobs for edges, stair landings and small rooms.
