The 550-3V is a XINGYI floor grinding machine with a 550 mm disc and a 4 kW / 5.5 Hp motor that turns from 350 to 1260 rpm. At 165 kg on a 1040 × 640 × 1200 mm frame it moves between floors easily and fits the lifts and stair cores of finished buildings.
Variable speed is what sets it apart from the 580-2. Low speed with metal pads grinds; higher speed with diamond pads hones and polishes, so one machine takes a floor from preparation to finish. It runs on 380 V three-phase, and at 4 kW the load on a site supply or generator stays modest.
It is bought by polished concrete and terrazzo contractors working on residential, retail and office floors, and as the smaller companion to a GX65 or GX688-4A on large jobs. Topall Impex is the exclusive India partner for XINGYI.
Seen from the 550-3V, the 580-2 offers 7.5 kW against 4 kW and 30 mm more disc, but at a single 1460 rpm. If most of your work is heavy removal, that extra power is worth paying for. If your floors finish in a polish or a honed surface, the 350–1260 rpm range of the 550-3V is the more useful feature, and the smaller motor costs less to run.
Polishing does not need a large motor; it needs the right speed and steady pressure. The 4 kW / 5.5 Hp motor with its matched 4 kW inverter holds speed through the grit sequence on floors that have already been ground flat. It also suits fit-out sites where the builder's three-phase point is rated for power tools rather than heavy plant.
Dry grinding lifts fine silica dust. Run the 550-3V with a High Tech Grinding IVC-F65L vacuum: 2.2 kW, 350 m³/h air suction and a 50 mm hose make it a good match for a grinder of this class.
