The GT330 is a compact concrete polishing and grinding machine with a 330 mm working width, three grinding wheels and a 4 kW motor. It is the small machine in a floor crew: edges, corridors, stair landings, small rooms and the patches a large grinder cannot reach or is not worth unloading for.
A 750 W vacuum motor is built into the machine to deal with dust from the head as it works. It runs on a 380 V supply, the catalogue lists 1450 r/min on its inverter line, and at 120 kg two people can lift it into a vehicle or carry it up a flight of stairs.
It is bought by polished-concrete and epoxy applicators as a second machine alongside a 600 mm grinder, and by maintenance contractors whose jobs are mostly small areas inside occupied buildings.
Both carry the same 4 kW motor in the same 1100×460×980 mm body. The GT330 works a 330 mm path on three wheels; the GT460 works 460 mm on six wheels and has a 1.8 kW vacuum motor. The GT330 is 45 kg lighter at 120 kg, and that is the reason to choose it: in small rooms, on stairs and on upper floors, lighter beats wider.
If most of your work is open floor of a few hundred square metres, the GT460 covers more ground per pass for the same motor power, and the GT330 becomes the edge machine rather than the main one.
Putting 4 kW through three grinding wheels keeps good pressure on each one, so the GT330 cuts well for its size on lippage, thin coatings and rough patches. The narrow head also runs close along a wall line, which reduces the hand grinding left over after a bigger machine has finished.
The on-board 750 W vacuum motor keeps dust down at the head, which matters in offices, clinics and shops that stay open during the work. For long dry-grinding runs, a separate HTG industrial vacuum such as the IVC-F65L keeps the air cleaner still.
