The BT-60H is a 600 mm walk-behind edger trowel from Beton Trowel, powered by a Honda GX160 at 5.5 hp and weighing 53 kg. Its job is the strip of floor the big machines leave behind: along walls, around columns and pipe penetrations, inside plant rooms and lift pits, and in any bay too small to turn a 900 mm or 1000 mm rotor.
On a floor finished by a ride-on trowel, the perimeter is where the finish is most often criticised, because it was done by hand with a float while the operator was busy in the middle. A 600 mm edger closes that gap and produces the same burnish at the edge as in the field.

Both run the Honda GX160 at 5.5 hp. The BT-90H at 900 mm and 120 kg is the general-purpose walk-behind for floors up to a few hundred square metres and the machine to buy first if you only buy one. The BT-60H at 600 mm and 53 kg reaches 150 mm closer to each wall on every side, turns in a space the 90H cannot and weighs less than half as much; it is bought as the second machine by contractors doing finished floors with a lot of edge, or as the only machine for corridors, plant rooms and small commercial floors. An edger earns its place in the last hour of the pour, when the field has been finished and the perimeter is still open. Running it after the ride-on, with the blade pitch matched, leaves no visible line between edge and field — which is what the client's inspector walks along first.
The Honda GX160 is the most common small engine on Indian sites, serviced everywhere. At 53 kg and 1460 × 660 × 980 mm with the handle, the machine is light enough for one person to move between bays and to lift into a plant room, which is the point of a 600 mm trowel.
