The BT-90H is Beton Trowel's 900 mm walk-behind power trowel, driven by a Honda GX160 at 5.5 hp and weighing 120 kg. It is the machine for floors of a few hundred square metres — commercial units, small industrial bays, residential basements, ramps and aprons — where a ride-on cannot be justified but a hand float cannot deliver a hard, dense finish.
A 900 mm rotor is the walk-behind size most contractors settle on: wide enough to cover a small floor in an evening, narrow enough to go through a standard doorway and turn inside a room. At 1280 × 945 × 980 mm it fits in a pick-up. The operator steers by tilting the handle, and the same machine floats with a pan first and finishes with blades afterwards.

Both are Honda GX160 5.5 hp walk-behind trowels. The CWT40 has a 1000 mm working diameter, weighs 85 kg and carries no brand name; the BT-90H is 900 mm, 120 kg and carries the Beton Trowel name and build. The 100 mm of width matters less than it sounds on a small floor, and the extra 35 kg of the BT-90H is not dead weight: on a walk-behind, machine weight is what presses the pan into the slab during floating. Contractors running Beton ride-ons usually keep the BT-90H so blades and service are common across the fleet. Below both, the 600 mm, 53 kg BT-60H edger handles the perimeter.
Under about 500 square metres a walk-behind finishes the slab in the time a ride-on takes to arrive and set up. Above that a ride-on such as the 275 kg BT-900-2PF covers ground several times faster and keeps the overlap even, which a walk-behind operator cannot do across a large floor. Most flooring crews own both and put the BT-90H on the small pours and the edges of the big ones.
The Honda GX160 at 5.5 hp has filters, plugs and carburettor parts available in any district town. It is the reason the machine can be sent to a remote site without a mechanic behind it.
